Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Online Academic Coach to provide personalized academic support to ICSE and CBSE students. This role involves delivering interactive, high-quality coaching sessions remotely, helping students grasp concepts, improve performance, and build confidence in their studies. The ideal candidate will possess strong subject matter expertise, excellent communication skills, and a genuine commitment to student success. This is a flexible work-from-home opportunity based in Bangalore, catering to students seeking guidance in a variety of academic subjects aligned with ICSE and CBSE curricula.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct live online coaching sessions for ICSE and CBSE students, focusing on their respective subjects.

• Develop customized lesson plans and study materials tailored to individual student needs and learning styles.

• Track and assess student progress through regular assignments, quizzes, and tests.

• Provide constructive feedback and academic advice to motivate and support students.

• Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate student performance and areas for improvement.

• Stay updated with the latest ICSE and CBSE curriculum changes, exam patterns, and academic resources.

• Foster a positive and encouraging virtual learning environment.

• Manage scheduling and maintain punctuality for all coaching sessions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Education, Science, Commerce, Arts, or a relevant discipline.

• Expertise in one or more subjects within the ICSE and/or CBSE syllabus (Mathematics, Science, English, Social Studies, etc.).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Strong proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for online teaching (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.).

• Ability to simplify complex concepts and tailor teaching methods to diverse learners.

• Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and parents.

• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience, preferably with ICSE/CBSE students.

• Prior experience in online coaching or remote education is highly desirable.

• Proven track record of helping students improve academic performance.

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours based on student availability and coaching schedules.
