Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Remote Online Tuition Teacher specializing in Physics and Chemistry to provide high-quality academic support to students. This role involves delivering interactive, engaging, and personalized online lessons aimed at enhancing students understanding and performance in these subjects. Preference will be given to candidates residing in Bangalore due to time zone alignment and potential occasional in-person coordination if needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive and effective online tuition sessions in Physics and Chemistry to students of various academic levels (secondary and higher secondary).

• Develop customized lesson plans, exercises, and assessments tailored to individual student needs and curriculum requirements.

• Utilize digital teaching tools and platforms to create an interactive and engaging learning environment.

• Track and evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback and guidance to help improve academic performance.

• Address student queries promptly and foster a supportive, motivating learning atmosphere.

• Collaborate with parents and guardians to report on student progress and discuss strategies for improvement.

• Stay updated with current academic syllabi, examination formats, and educational best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in Physics, Chemistry, Education, or a related field.

• Proven expertise and strong command over Physics and Chemistry concepts.

• Prior experience in tutoring or teaching these subjects, preferably in an online setting.

• Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.

• Proficiency in using online teaching tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or dedicated e-learning platforms.

• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching.

Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring Physics and/or Chemistry.

• Experience working with students preparing for board exams (CBSE, ICSE, State Boards) or competitive exams (JEE, NEET) is highly desirable.

• Prior remote teaching experience will be an advantage.

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours, typically aligned with student availability (afternoon and evening sessions preferred).

• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10-15 hours per week.

• Weekend availability may be required based on student schedules.
