Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Tutor to join our online teaching team. This role offers a flexible work-from-home opportunity to educate and inspire students in Bangalore and beyond. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and a knack for delivering lessons through virtual platforms, helping students achieve academic success and build confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, interactive online science lessons to students across various grade levels.

• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments tailored to individual student needs.

• Monitor and evaluate student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and guidance.

• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning styles and academic goals.

• Maintain clear and timely communication with students and parents regarding progress and challenges.

• Utilize online teaching tools and resources effectively to enhance the learning experience.

• Participate in occasional training sessions to stay updated on the latest educational trends and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or related field).

• Prior teaching or tutoring experience, preferably in an online environment.

• Strong command over Science concepts and ability to explain complex topics clearly.

• Proficient with digital tools and platforms used for virtual teaching (Zoom, Google Meet, MS Teams, etc.).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic about helping students learn and grow.

• Ability to motivate and engage students remotely.

Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years of teaching or tutoring experience in Science subjects.

• Experience with online teaching platforms and digital classroom management is highly desirable.

• Experience with students from diverse backgrounds and academic levels preferred.
