Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Virtual Recruitment Officer to manage and drive the end-to-end recruitment process for prestigious resorts and hotels. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of hospitality sector hiring needs, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to identify, attract, and onboard top talent virtually. This role involves partnering with hotel management teams, understanding their staffing requirements, and delivering qualified candidates in a timely manner to maintain high service standards.
Manage full-cycle recruitment virtually, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates for resorts and hotels.
Collaborate closely with HR managers and department heads to understand hiring needs and define job descriptions.
Develop and maintain a strong candidate pipeline through proactive sourcing techniques and talent networking.
Coordinate and conduct virtual interviews, assessments, and reference checks.
Maintain accurate recruitment records and update applicant tracking systems regularly.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations during hiring processes.
Provide timely feedback to candidates and hiring managers to enhance the recruitment experience.
Assist in employer branding activities to promote Houston Skilled Consultancy and its clients as top employers in the hospitality industry.
Generate recruitment reports and metrics to track and improve hiring effectiveness.
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience (2+ years) in recruitment, preferably within the hospitality sector (resorts and hotels preferred).
Strong knowledge of virtual recruitment tools and platforms such as LinkedIn, job portals, ATS systems, and video interviewing software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to influence hiring decisions.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a remote environment.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and recruitment software.
Minimum of 2 years in recruitment roles, with a focus on hospitality or service industry hiring.
Experience in virtual recruitment or remote talent acquisition is highly desirable.
Demonstrated success in meeting recruitment targets and deadlines.
Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
