Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Remote Hotel Revenue Management Assistant to support our hospitality clients in maximizing revenue, occupancy, and pricing strategies. This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates or entry-level candidates with an interest in hospitality, analytics, and business operations. The selected candidate will assist our Revenue Management team with daily reports, competitive pricing analysis, and data-driven decision-making from the comfort of their home.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in analyzing hotel performance metrics including occupancy, ADR (Average Daily Rate), and RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room)

  • Monitor competitor pricing and market trends using available tools and reports

  • Generate and maintain accurate reports, dashboards, and pricing sheets

  • Coordinate with hotel partners to update rate strategies on various booking channels (OTA, website, GDS, etc.)

  • Support revenue managers with seasonal pricing plans, forecasts, and historical data reviews

  • Contribute to weekly and monthly revenue meetings with actionable insights

  • Maintain records of promotions, restrictions, and changes in rate structures

  • Perform administrative and analytical tasks as assigned to improve revenue workflows


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism, Economics, or related fields (final-year students and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts)

  • Basic understanding of the hospitality industry and hotel operations

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently with a strong attention to detail

  • Comfortable using data dashboards and reporting tools


Experience

  • No prior work experience required — Entry-level candidates are welcome

  • Internship or academic exposure to revenue management, hospitality operations, or business analysis is a plus


Working Hours

  • Flexible remote schedule with expected availability for 4 to 6 hours per day

  • Monday to Friday with occasional check-ins during weekends based on client needs

  • Coordination with teams across time zones may be required

  • Passion for the hospitality industry and data-driven decision making

  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential data

  • Eagerness to learn about hotel pricing models, channel management, and demand forecasting
