Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join our Construction team. The ideal candidate will support project managers by ensuring smooth project execution from inception through completion. This role involves coordinating schedules, managing communications between stakeholders, tracking project progress, and assisting with documentation and reporting. The Project Coordinator will play a key role in keeping construction projects on time, within budget, and aligned with quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers in planning, scheduling, and executing construction projects.

  • Coordinate communication between contractors, suppliers, clients, and internal teams.

  • Monitor project timelines and milestones, identifying potential delays or risks.

  • Maintain and update project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and permits.

  • Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for stakeholders.

  • Facilitate meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.

  • Support procurement activities by tracking material orders and deliveries.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards on-site and off-site.

  • Help manage project budgets, track expenses, and assist in financial reporting.

  • Address and resolve day-to-day project issues promptly to avoid disruptions.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in construction project coordination or administration.

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, and documentation.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore).

  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with diverse teams.

  • Ability to analyze schedules, budgets, and reports to support decision-making.

  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.


Experience

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in construction project coordination or a similar role.

  • Experience in coordinating medium to large-scale construction projects is preferred.

  • Prior involvement in commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects is a plus.


Working Hours

  • Full-time position, typically Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

  • Flexibility may be required to meet project deadlines or attend site meetings.

  • Occasional visits to construction sites are expected, adhering to safety protocols.

  • Deep knowledge of construction project lifecycle and documentation requirements.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with contractors, vendors, and clients.
