As a Guest Services Associate on Princess Cruises, you will be the face and voice of world-class hospitality onboard. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist guests courteously at the Guest Services Desk

  • Address and resolve guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with a professional and solution-focused approach

  • Provide information on shipboard activities, excursions, dining, and amenities

  • Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and resolutions

  • Collaborate with departments (Housekeeping, F&B, Shore Excursions) to ensure a smooth guest experience

  • Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve ongoing issues proactively

  • Handle administrative tasks such as room changes, onboard account adjustments, and guest documentation

  • Actively promote onboard services and offerings in alignment with brand standards

  • Participate in safety drills and comply with onboard safety regulations


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in English (spoken and written); additional languages (Spanish, Italian, French, German) are a plus

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and guest-first mindset

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or conflict situations

  • Familiarity with hospitality software or CRM tools is desirable

  • Basic understanding of international travel and cultural awareness


Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a front office, customer service, or cruise environment

  • Prior international hospitality or cruise ship experience is highly preferred but not mandatory


Working Hours

  • Rotational shifts covering 24/7 operations

  • Average 10-hour workdays, 7 days a week while on contract (standard for cruise industry roles)

  • Contract durations typically range from 6 to 9 months, with scheduled breaks
