Houston Skilled Consultancy is excited to offer part-time remote customer support opportunities tailored for students seeking to earn while they learn. As a Remote Customer Support Representative, you will serve as the first point of contact for our clients, providing courteous and effective support across various platforms including email, chat, and phone. Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via live chat, email, and/or phone.

• Assist customers with product or service-related questions, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

• Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.

• Accurately document customer interactions and update records in the customer support system.

• Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal departments.

• Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies to maintain high service standards.

• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement based on customer feedback.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Basic computer literacy and proficiency with online tools (e.g., CRM platforms, Google Workspace, or MS Office).

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a remote setup.

• Friendly, patient, and empathetic demeanor.

• Must be currently enrolled in a college or university (any field of study).

• A quiet and professional remote work environment.

Experience

• No prior professional experience required — training will be provided.

• Any previous internship or customer service experience (retail, hospitality, or support roles) is a plus.

Working Hours

• Flexible part-time schedule, ideally 15–25 hours per week.

• Shifts available during weekdays, evenings, and weekends to accommodate class schedules.

• All work is conducted remotely, allowing students to work from home or campus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Quick learner with a proactive attitude.

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a remote team.

• Familiarity with digital communication tools like Slack, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams is an advantage.
