Job Summary

MNC JOBS INFO is seeking a talented and highly motivated Finance Analyst to join our dynamic team in the Banking and Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFC) sector. As a Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, providing actionable insights, and supporting key financial decision-making processes. You will play a crucial role in assessing the financial performance of banking and NBFC clients, supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts, and assisting in the development of financial models to drive business growth and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed financial analysis for clients in the banking and NBFC sector, including profitability, liquidity, and risk analysis.

  • Support the budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.

  • Develop, maintain, and improve financial models to assist in decision-making.

  • Analyze financial statements, reports, and trends to offer insights into operational performance.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Work closely with internal teams to support financial reviews and presentations for senior leadership.

  • Conduct industry and market research to identify financial trends and opportunities.

  • Provide recommendations for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and overall financial performance improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accounting standards.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Masters degree (MBA) is a plus.

  • Strong proficiency in financial analysis, financial modeling, and data analysis.

  • Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros) and proficiency with financial software and tools.

  • Solid understanding of financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Knowledge of banking and NBFC industry trends, regulatory requirements, and financial products is highly desirable.


Experience

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field, ideally within the banking or NBFC sector.

  • Previous experience in handling financial reporting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or investment analysis is highly preferred.


Working Hours

  • Full-time position with standard working hours from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM (Monday to Friday).

  • Occasional overtime may be required during peak financial reporting periods.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong financial analysis skills and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.

  • In-depth knowledge of the banking and NBFC sectors, including financial regulations and risk management practices.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and use of advanced Excel features.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen focus on detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Understanding of financial software like SAP, Oracle, or other financial ERP systems is a plus.
