Job Summary
Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled MIS Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Advanced Excel and Data Analysis. As an MIS Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing data, generating reports, and providing actionable insights that will help improve business decision-making. You will work closely with various departments to support data-driven strategies and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain MIS reports for management and business units, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

• Perform data analysis and interpretation to assist in business performance tracking and strategy development.

• Create complex Excel-based reports with advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts, and macros.

• Maintain and update databases and dashboards for effective reporting and visual representation of key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Collaborate with other departments to understand data needs and improve reporting systems.

• Identify trends, patterns, and insights from large data sets, providing recommendations to optimize processes.

• Support ad-hoc requests for data analysis, reporting, and business insights.

• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all reports and systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data management, analysis, and reporting systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in Advanced Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, and Power Query.

• Strong knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques.

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Strong knowledge of SQL (optional but advantageous).

Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in MIS, Data Analysis, or a similar role, ideally in a corporate setting.

• Hands-on experience with advanced Excel functions, data extraction, and reporting.

• Experience in analyzing large datasets and presenting insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Working Hours

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• Flexible working hours may be considered depending on business needs.
