Job Summary:

Progressive Technology is seeking a skilled and dedicated Production Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control processes for manufacturing operations.

• Identify and troubleshoot quality issues in the production line, using root cause analysis methods.

• Ensure all products meet industry standards, customer specifications, and company quality guidelines.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and efficiency.

• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure the adherence to quality standards.

• Lead and support product testing and validation to confirm specifications and performance.

• Provide training to production staff on quality standards, tools, and processes.

• Review production processes and suggest improvements for quality, cost, and efficiency.

• Document and report quality metrics and performance data to senior management.

• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements related to product quality and manufacturing processes.

• Participate in the development of new product designs to ensure manufacturability and quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).

• Proven experience in quality control or quality engineering, specifically in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO, Six Sigma, etc.) and regulatory requirements.

• Proficiency in using quality tools such as SPC (Statistical Process Control), FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), and root cause analysis.

• Experience with production process optimization and continuous improvement techniques.

• Familiarity with CAD software and other engineering tools is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience in using quality management systems and software for data collection and analysis.

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as assembly lines, fabrication, machining, and testing.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week.

• Flexible working hours depending on production schedules.

• Occasional overtime may be required to meet production goals and deadlines.

• In-depth understanding of quality assurance principles and practices.

• Expertise in process control, data analysis, and improvement strategies.
