Progressive Technology is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and streamline our remote operations in Egypt. This is a critical leadership role that will be responsible for managing day-to-day operational activities, implementing process improvements, and driving operational excellence. Lead, manage, and oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across departments.
Develop and implement operational strategies, procedures, and best practices to enhance productivity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, Finance, and Customer Support to ensure seamless workflow.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare reports, and provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
Monitor project timelines and deliverables, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
Lead recruitment, training, and performance management for operational team members.
Serve as a liaison between local teams and global leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture in a remote setting.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Masters preferred).
Proven experience in managing remote operations and cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Trello, Asana).
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations or business management roles.
At least 2 years of experience managing remote teams or distributed operations.
Demonstrated success in leading projects, process optimization, and driving operational KPIs.
Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Flexible working hours with availability for scheduled meetings in GMT+2 time zone.
Must be available during core business hours and for occasional extended hours based on business needs.
Strong understanding of business functions including HR, finance, and IT operations.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
Knowledge of operational best practices in a tech or SaaS environment.
High attention to detail and quality orientation.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport across teams.
