Job Summary

The Elite Job is looking for a highly skilled Technical Copywriter with a strong background in the IT and Software industry to join our growing team. This remote role is ideal for a detail-oriented writer who excels at simplifying complex technical content for a global audience. The successful candidate will collaborate with developers, engineers, product managers, and marketing teams to create compelling and accurate documentation, website content, blogs, case studies, whitepapers, and product descriptions.

As our Technical Copywriter, you will play a vital role in shaping the voice of our technology offerings and making sophisticated software solutions accessible and engaging to our customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and proofread clear, concise, and accurate content for technical and non-technical audiences.

• Translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly content for product pages, documentation, blog articles, white papers, eBooks, emails, and more.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), developers, and product teams to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

• Maintain a consistent tone, voice, and style across all platforms in line with brand guidelines.

• Conduct independent research on industry trends, competitor content, and emerging technologies to create insightful and authoritative material.

• Review and update existing documentation to ensure it reflects the latest features and functionality.

• Optimize content for SEO and digital marketing performance using best practices and tools.

• Work with design and UX teams to align content with user interfaces and visual elements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Communications, Technical Writing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a technical writer or copywriter in the IT/Software industry.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of English.

• Strong understanding of software development, cloud computing, SaaS, APIs, cybersecurity, or other relevant IT domains.

• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and documentation tools such as Confluence, Markdown, Git, or similar.

• Familiarity with SEO principles and tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Yoast.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.

• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with international teams.

Experience

• Proven portfolio showcasing technical content, including product documentation, blog posts, and marketing collateral.

• Hands-on experience in fast-paced technology or SaaS companies.

• Bonus: Experience in writing for global or multilingual audiences.

Working Hours

• Full-time position (40 hours/week)

• Flexible working hours with core overlap in Brazilian business hours (GMT-3) to coordinate with team members across regions.

• 100% remote role — work from anywhere in Brazil.
