The Elite Job is seeking a dedicated and tech-savvy Remote Technical Support Associate to join our fast-growing support team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about customer service and problem-solving in a technical environment. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a critical role in ensuring client satisfaction by delivering timely and effective support through phone, email, and chat platforms. This is a fully remote position open to candidates based in the UK, offering flexibility, growth, and the opportunity to work from the comfort of your home.
Provide first-level technical support to customers via phone, email, and live chat.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, network connectivity, and general IT problems.
Guide users through step-by-step solutions in a clear and patient manner.
Escalate complex issues to senior support or engineering teams when necessary.
Document all customer interactions and resolutions using internal CRM tools.
Stay updated with product knowledge, internal procedures, and industry best practices.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy while handling customer queries.
Meet or exceed performance metrics including response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Basic knowledge of Windows, macOS, and common software applications.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
Fluent in English.
Minimum of 1 year in a technical support, customer service, or call center role (remote or onsite).
Experience with CRM systems and support ticketing tools is preferred.
Background in IT, Helpdesk, or telecommunications is a strong advantage.
Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts may include weekdays, evenings, and occasional weekends based on team scheduling.
Flexibility in shift availability is appreciated.
Understanding of basic networking concepts (Wi-Fi, routers, DNS, VPN, etc.)
Familiarity with troubleshooting desktop/laptop/mobile device issues.
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
A genuine desire to help others and a passion for technology.
Quick learner with a proactive attitude and attention to detail.
