Progressive Technology is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individual to join our Remote Banking Customer Support Team. As a Remote Banking Customer Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our banking customers, helping them resolve inquiries and providing solutions that enhance their digital banking experience. This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates based in the United States, designed for individuals who are passionate about customer service and want to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Deliver outstanding customer support via phone, email, and live chat in a professional and courteous manner.
Respond to a wide range of banking-related inquiries, including account access, transaction issues, fraud concerns, and digital banking navigation.
Provide accurate information and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
Guide customers through troubleshooting steps and educate them on digital banking tools and resources.
Document all customer interactions using CRM systems in accordance with compliance and quality standards.
Escalate complex cases to appropriate departments while ensuring timely resolution.
Stay updated with the latest banking procedures, policies, and digital tools to better assist customers.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and adhere to data privacy regulations and company security policies.
High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or bachelors degree preferred.
Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM with high accuracy.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems and tools.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
1-2 years of customer service experience required, preferably in a call center or remote support setting.
Prior experience in banking, fintech, or financial services is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with banking regulations, common account processes, and fraud detection is highly desirable.
Full-time position: 40 hours per week.
Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
Flexibility to work rotating schedules is required.
Solid understanding of digital banking platforms and mobile app functionalities.
Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
Proven conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and financial security standards (e.g., FDIC, PCI-DSS).
