Job Summary:

Progressive Technology is seeking a reliable and experienced Loading Vehicle Driver to join our team in Coimbatore. This role focuses on the safe transportation and loading of materials within our facility and external locations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. As a Loading Vehicle Driver, you will be responsible for operating various types of vehicles used in material handling, while adhering to safety protocols and optimizing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate loading vehicles (such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and delivery trucks) to transport materials to and from various locations.
• Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and storage areas.
• Ensure all loads are properly secured and meet safety regulations.
• Perform routine inspections on the loading vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and reporting any issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and materials handled, including inventory tracking.
• Assist in warehouse organization by coordinating the movement of goods and materials.
• Follow all company safety policies and guidelines to prevent accidents and damage.
• Ensure compliance with transportation and logistics regulations at all times.
• Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to streamline processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in material handling or a similar role.
• Familiarity with operating loading vehicles, including forklifts and delivery trucks.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols in material handling and transportation.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Problem-solving mindset and quick decision-making ability.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a vehicle driver in a material handling or logistics role.
• Experience working with warehouse operations and inventory management is preferred.
• Experience operating loading vehicles such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position with flexible hours, typically Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods.
