Job Summary
Amazon is looking for an organized and customer-focused Returns Specialist to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

  • Assess return requests, identify the reason for return, and determine appropriate next steps in line with company policies.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure returned items are inspected, restocked, or disposed of as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to resolve return issues and provide solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain and update accurate records for all return transactions in Amazons internal systems.
  • Investigate discrepancies in returns data and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Ensure all return procedures comply with Amazons quality control standards and policies.
  • Provide insights and feedback to improve the returns process and enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and internal Amazon software/systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Customer service experience is a plus, especially in handling returns or complaints.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer service or returns management role is preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced retail or e-commerce environment is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Amazons returns process is a plus, though training will be provided.
