As a Content Moderator, you will review, assess, and monitor user-generated and product-related content to ensure compliance with Wayfair policies. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, contribute to process improvements, and provide feedback to enhance our platform user experience.
Review and moderate user-generated content, including product descriptions, images, reviews, and comments, ensuring compliance with Wayfair guidelines.
Identify and remove content that violates policies, such as inappropriate, misleading, or offensive material.
Communicate effectively with other teams to report recurring content issues and provide suggestions for policy or process updates.
Escalate complex or sensitive issues to senior moderators or management as necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation of moderation actions and decisions.
Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on policy changes and best practices.
Meet performance targets, such as review accuracy and productivity metrics.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to make objective decisions.
Excellent written communication skills.
Proficiency with basic computer applications and online tools.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining productivity and focus.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.
Previous experience in content moderation, customer service, or related fields.
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms or online marketplaces.
Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus but not required.
