Key Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Data Entry Specialist, you will:
- Accurately input, update, and verify data across multiple systems with high attention to detail.
- Review data for deficiencies or discrepancies and follow up to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA and company data security protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve data inconsistencies or workflow challenges.
- Prioritize and manage assigned tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Provide support for additional administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience in data entry, administrative roles, or related fields (minimum of 1 year).
- Strong typing skills with a minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in the healthcare or insurance industry.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance.
- Familiarity with CRM or database management software.
