This fully remote role offers the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while delivering top-notch customer service to our valued passengers. As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be a key member of Southwest Airlines customer service team, providing assistance, answering inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and friendly manner.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional, friendly, and empathetic manner.
  • Provide accurate information about flight schedules, bookings, policies, and services.
  • Resolve customer concerns, including booking changes, refunds, and cancellations, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly performance goals and targets.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments or management, while ensuring clear communication with customers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Southwest Airlines policies, products, and services to provide the most accurate and helpful assistance.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities to address customer concerns and create solutions.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks related to customer service processes.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly and professional tone.
  • Ability to remain calm and positive in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and customer service platforms.
  • Experience in customer service, sales, or call center environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A quiet, dedicated workspace and reliable high-speed internet connection.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in the airline or travel industry.
  • Bachelor degree in a related field.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities (Spanish, French, etc.) are a plus.
  • Experience using remote work tools like Zoom, Slack, or similar platforms.

  • Work Schedule: Flexible hours, including evening and weekend shifts.

Salary:

  • Competitive pay based on experience. The estimated salary range for this role is $35,000 – $45,000 annually, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
