Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our Oil and Gas sector team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing process systems to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards. As a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and maintenance of large-scale oil and gas operations, applying technical expertise to drive process improvements and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize process systems for oil and gas production and refining operations.
• Conduct process simulations, analysis, and troubleshooting to enhance system performance.
• Develop and review process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and heat and material balance sheets.
• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement to maximize productivity.
• Monitor operations to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and operations personnel, to execute projects effectively.
• Perform risk assessments and implement process safety measures to minimize hazards.
• Support plant commissioning, startup activities, and optimization processes.
• Prepare technical reports, operational manuals, and documentation for process changes and improvements.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and problem-solving during daily operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in process engineering within the Oil and Gas sector.
• Strong understanding of process design, optimization, and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in process simulation tools such as HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or similar software.
• Working knowledge of engineering standards such as API, ASME, and OSHA.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Ability to handle multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of equipment such as heat exchangers, distillation columns, and pumps.

Experience

• Required: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Process Engineer in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Experience working on upstream, midstream, or downstream processes is highly preferred.
• Experience with plant commissioning/startup and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Working Hours

• Full-time role: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Flexibility to address occasional project requirements and site visits.
