Job Summary:

The Elite Job is seeking passionate and experienced home tutors and online tutors to join our growing team. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about teaching and can help students of all age groups excel academically. Tutors will be responsible for delivering lessons in a variety of subjects to students in Chennai, either in-person or virtually, based on the students preference. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions for students in various subjects (including but not limited to Math, Science, English, Social Studies, and Computer Science).

• Assist students in improving their grades and understanding of difficult subjects.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Help students with homework, projects, and exam preparation.
• Use online platforms and tools for virtual tutoring sessions (if applicable).
• Create a supportive, engaging, and positive learning environment for students.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A strong educational background in the subject(s) you wish to tutor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and the ability to explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Proficient in the use of online teaching tools (for online tutors).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
• A passion for teaching and helping students achieve their academic goals.

Experience:

• Previous tutoring experience is preferred but not required.
• Fresh graduates, experienced tutors, and professionals looking to share their expertise are welcome to apply.
• Experience in preparing students for exams or competitive tests will be an added advantage.

Working Hours:

• Flexible working hours; tutors can choose their availability to suit their schedule.
• Availability during weekends or after-school hours will be highly preferred, as most tutoring sessions are conducted after school hours.

• Familiarity with virtual learning tools and platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, etc.).

• Ability to establish rapport with students and their families.
