Job Summary:
Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic marketing team. This remote position offers the opportunity to assist in the planning, development, and execution of marketing campaigns aimed at driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for digital marketing, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively in a virtual environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels (email, social media, content marketing, SEO, PPC).
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create content for websites, blogs, newsletters, and social media platforms.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends that can be leveraged to enhance marketing efforts.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing insights for improvements.
- Manage and update social media platforms, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
- Assist in organizing virtual events, webinars, and product launches.
- Support with administrative tasks, including scheduling, budget tracking, and managing marketing materials.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on marketing goals and strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Mailchimp, or similar platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts, including social media, SEO, and email marketing.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
- Creative thinking with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a marketing or administrative role is preferred but not required.
- Exposure to digital marketing, content creation, or campaign management will be considered an asset.
- Experience with social media management and marketing tools is beneficial.
Working Hours:
- This is a full-time, remote position.
- Flexible working hours, but availability for team meetings during standard working hours (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) is required.
