Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a dynamic and experienced Asset Commercialization Partner - Emerging Biopharma to join our growing team. This pivotal role will focus on identifying, developing, and commercializing innovative biopharmaceutical assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biopharma commercialization, strategic partnerships, and market analysis to drive the successful transition of assets from development to market.


Key Responsibilities

  • Asset Development & Commercialization: Lead and manage the commercialization strategy for emerging biopharma assets, including partnering with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful market entry.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and academic institutions to drive partnerships that align with company goals.
  • Market Analysis & Research: Conduct in-depth market analysis to assess the potential of assets in development, including competitive landscape, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Business Strategy: Work closely with senior leadership to define and implement long-term business strategies for asset growth and development in emerging markets.
  • Financial Oversight: Develop and manage budgets and financial models for asset commercialization projects, ensuring financial goals are met.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the commercialization process and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful launch of biopharma products.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, and marketing teams to ensure the timely progression of assets from development through commercialization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Biopharmaceuticals, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, PhD, or similar) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in asset commercialization, business development, or strategic partnerships within the biopharma industry.
  • Strong understanding of biopharma product lifecycle, including clinical trials, regulatory pathways, and market access strategies.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and manage partnerships and licensing agreements.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Experience

  • 5-7 years of experience in biopharmaceutical commercialization or business development.
  • Experience working with emerging biopharma assets or within a startup biotech environment is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful asset commercialization and partnership development.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position.
  • Flexible working hours with opportunities for remote work.
