Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products and systems. You will lead testing strategies, implement automation solutions, and mentor junior team members while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts.
• Design and execute both manual and automated testing for software applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle.
• Conduct performance, functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
• Lead the integration of automated testing tools and frameworks into the QA process.
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Expertise in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Proficient in tools like JIRA, Git, and Jenkins.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience

• Proven track record of testing complex systems and applications.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Experience in working with cloud-based platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time, flexible working hours with a core time window between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
• Remote work options are available with occasional on-site collaboration as needed.

• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Deep knowledge of database querying and debugging.
