Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Senior Manager to lead HR policy development, provide expert advisory services, and oversee specialist support functions within the organization. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with labor laws, developing robust HR frameworks, and providing guidance on complex employee relations matters. This role is critical in shaping a positive workplace culture while aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Policy Development:
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal standards and best practices.
- Ensure policies align with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.
HR Advisory Services:
- Provide expert guidance on employment law, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers on sensitive HR issues.
Specialist Support Functions:
- Lead specialized HR teams, including compensation, benefits, and organizational development.
- Oversee HR analytics and ensure the use of data-driven decision-making across the department.
Employee Relations:
- Manage complex employee relations cases, ensuring fair resolution.
- Foster a culture of transparency, inclusivity, and respect.
Training and Development:
- Design and deliver training sessions to equip managers with knowledge of HR policies and best practices.
- Support leadership development programs to enhance managerial capabilities.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Monitor legislative changes and update policies accordingly.
- Mitigate organizational risks through proactive measures and thorough audits.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters preferred).
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience in HR analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience
- Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Demonstrated success in policy development, employee relations, and advisory roles.
- Experience working in diverse, multi-industry environments is a plus.
Working Hours
- Full-time role with standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Flexibility to work additional hours based on business needs.
