Job Summary:

The Elite Job is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Client Portfolio Manager specializing in Accounting and Tax to join our dynamic team. This role is integral in managing client portfolios, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and fostering long-term relationships with clients. As a Client Portfolio Manager, you will oversee all aspects of accounting and tax services, providing strategic advice, compliance support, and insights to clients across various industries. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure that client expectations are met with the highest standards of service, accuracy, and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
  • Tax and Accounting Advisory: Provide expert advice on tax planning, compliance, and strategy, ensuring clients tax obligations are met while optimizing their financial positions.
  • Portfolio Oversight: Manage a diverse client portfolio, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of tax filings, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside accountants, tax specialists, and financial advisors to provide comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in clients financial and tax planning and recommend actionable solutions to mitigate those risks.
  • Client Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports to clients, outlining financial performance, tax strategies, and future recommendations.
  • Client Retention and Growth: Proactively identify opportunities to expand service offerings within existing client portfolios, contributing to client satisfaction and business growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), EA (Enrolled Agent), or similar preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, tax, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a client-facing role.
  • Strong understanding of tax regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proven track record of managing client relationships and providing strategic financial advice.
  • Proficiency in accounting and tax software, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant tools.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote work environment.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting, tax preparation, or financial advisory services.
  • At least 2 years of experience directly managing a client portfolio in a client-facing role.
  • Experience working with a diverse client base, including individuals, small businesses, and corporate clients, is preferred.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time, remote position.
  • Flexible working hours based on client needs and personal preference, with availability for client meetings during standard business hours (9 AM - 5 PM).
  • Occasional overtime may be required during peak tax seasons or for urgent client needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of accounting, tax laws, and financial regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in reviewing financial statements and tax documents.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., ProSystem FX, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients in an understandable manner.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote work environment while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
