Progressive Technology is seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Chat Support Specialist to join our team remotely. This role is focused on delivering excellent service through live chat, assisting customers with inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing support for a variety of products and services. Ideal candidates are effective communicators with strong problem-solving skills, dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide real-time assistance to customers via chat, handling inquiries, concerns, and technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints or escalate complex cases to relevant departments.
  • Accurately log customer interactions and ensure complete and detailed documentation.
  • Proactively update customers on the status of their issues or requests, ensuring transparency and timely communication.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Progressive Technologys products, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Continuously enhance customer service by identifying improvements to chat support processes and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business, communication, or technology is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a customer support or helpdesk role, preferably in a remote or chat-based environment.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
  • Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple chat sessions effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and support software (experience with tools like Zendesk, Intercom, or similar is preferred).
  • Technical proficiency and comfort with a range of digital tools.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1-2 years in a customer service role, preferably within the technology sector.
  • Experience in a remote position or handling customer inquiries through live chat is strongly preferred.

Working Hours

  • Flexible hours with part-time and full-time options.
  • Must be available for shifts including evenings and weekends, depending on business needs.
