Job Summary
Progressive Technology is seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Chat Support Specialist to join our team remotely. This role is focused on delivering excellent service through live chat, assisting customers with inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing support for a variety of products and services. Key Responsibilities
- Provide real-time assistance to customers via chat, handling inquiries, concerns, and technical issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints or escalate complex cases to relevant departments.
- Accurately log customer interactions and ensure complete and detailed documentation.
- Proactively update customers on the status of their issues or requests, ensuring transparency and timely communication.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Progressive Technologys products, services, policies, and procedures.
- Continuously enhance customer service by identifying improvements to chat support processes and tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business, communication, or technology is a plus.
- Proven experience in a customer support or helpdesk role, preferably in a remote or chat-based environment.
- Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple chat sessions effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and support software (experience with tools like Zendesk, Intercom, or similar is preferred).
- Technical proficiency and comfort with a range of digital tools.
Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years in a customer service role, preferably within the technology sector.
- Experience in a remote position or handling customer inquiries through live chat is strongly preferred.
Working Hours
- Flexible hours with part-time and full-time options.
- Must be available for shifts including evenings and weekends, depending on business needs.
