Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Installation Engineer to join our team at Reliance Jio. The role is integral to the delivery of seamless network and connectivity services across residential, commercial, and enterprise environments. As an Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining JioFiber broadband, telecommunications equipment, and networking systems. Your focus will be on ensuring efficient deployment, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing customer experience by delivering high-quality services.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in the installation and maintenance of telecom equipment, routers, modems, fiber optics, and other networking devices. You will work closely with technical teams, engineers, and customers to ensure reliable and stable network connectivity. Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills are essential in this role, as you will be handling multiple installation requests and coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain JioFiber broadband and networking equipment, including routers, modems, and fiber optics.
• Conduct site surveys and assess installation requirements for both residential and commercial clients.

• Perform regular maintenance checks and upgrades to ensure network reliability and performance.
• Coordinate with field engineers and technical support teams to ensure timely service delivery.
• Provide technical assistance and support to customers during and after installation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during installation and maintenance processes.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports of completed installations and any encountered issues.
• Monitor service quality and suggest improvements for better customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• A degree or diploma in Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Familiarity with broadband systems, fiber optics, telecommunications equipment, and networking protocols.
• Sound understanding of installation and maintenance of routers, modems, cabling, and other telecom infrastructure.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for testing and troubleshooting network systems.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in telecom installation and maintenance, preferably in fiber optics or broadband services.
• Hands-on experience with tools and equipment used in fiber optics splicing, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Previous work experience with major telecom service providers or ISPs is highly desirable.

Working Hours

• Full-time position with standard working hours of 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.
• Flexibility to work in shifts or on-call duties, based on the operational needs and customer service demands.
