Job Summary:
American Express is seeking a motivated and organized Virtual Assistant to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize executive calendars, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails and phone calls, with professionalism and discretion.
- Prepare documents, reports, and presentations as needed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand standards.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct research and compile data to assist in decision-making and project management.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Assist in onboarding new employees and coordinate training schedules.
- Provide general administrative support as required, including data entry, filing, and document management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelors degree is preferred.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant, or similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with online collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Teams).
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative support role.
- Experience in the financial services industry is a plus but not required.
Working Hours:
- This is a full-time position with flexible working hours to accommodate different time zones.
