Job Summary:

Netflix is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Remote Tagger. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the viewing experience for our subscribers by accurately tagging and categorizing a wide range of content. As a Tagger, you will help viewers find the content that resonates with their interests while also supporting the strategic goals of the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Analysis: Watch and assess a variety of shows and films to understand their themes, genres, and key elements.
• Tagging: Assign specific tags and metadata to content based on predefined criteria to improve discoverability and user experience.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all tagging is consistent, accurate, and meets Netflixs high standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with content teams and other stakeholders to provide insights on content trends and audience preferences.
• Reporting: Generate reports and analytics on tagging accuracy and content performance, offering suggestions for improvement.
• Feedback: Actively participate in feedback sessions to refine tagging strategies and guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Film Studies, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in content curation, media analysis, or a similar role is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and evaluate media content.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate tagging and categorization.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with content management systems and basic data analysis tools.

Experience:

• Relevant Work History: At least 1-2 years of experience in a content-related role, preferably within the entertainment industry.
• Media Literacy: A solid understanding of various genres, trends, and the current media landscape.

Working Hours:

• This is a fully remote position with flexible working hours. Successful candidates should be able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours during peak periods.
