Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of research protocols and methodologies.
  • Conduct literature reviews and summarize findings to support research objectives.
  • Collect, manage, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data using statistical software.
  • Prepare and present research findings through reports, presentations, and publications.
  • Collaborate with other researchers, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders to facilitate research projects.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements related to research.
  • Participate in grant writing and funding proposals to secure financial support for research initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of research activities and results.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Social Sciences, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R) and data analysis techniques.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with research ethics and compliance regulations.

Experience

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in research or data analysis, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience in managing research projects from conception to execution is a plus.
  • Previous exposure to clinical research methodologies or public health initiatives is desirable.

Working Hours

  • This is a full-time position, typically Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours to accommodate project needs and collaboration with team members.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of health services research and evidence-based practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data visualization tools.
  • Ability to adapt to changing research environments and priorities.
