Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Natural Gas Plant Commissioning Manager to oversee the commissioning of natural gas plants. This remote position requires frequent travel to various job sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commissioning processes, project management, and team leadership within the natural gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the commissioning process for new natural gas facilities, ensuring all operations align with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans, schedules, and budgets for multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to facilitate seamless transitions from construction to operations.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions during the commissioning phase.
  • Train and mentor project teams on commissioning best practices and operational procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of commissioning activities, including reports, checklists, and compliance records.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication throughout the commissioning process.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, making necessary adjustments to meet objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in natural gas plant commissioning or operations management.
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in managing commissioning activities for natural gas or energy-related projects.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
  • Experience working in remote or challenging environments is preferred.

Working Hours

  • This position requires flexibility in working hours, including the potential for overtime and weekends during peak commissioning phases. Frequent travel to job sites is expected.
