Job Summary

Waste Management Jobs is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Trash Collectors. This role is crucial in ensuring our communities remain clean and safe. As a Trash Collector, you will be responsible for the collection and disposal of waste materials while providing exceptional service to our customers. Key Responsibilities

• Operate waste collection vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Collect and transport trash and recyclables from residential and commercial locations.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Interact with customers courteously and professionally, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables according to company policies and local regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the collection vehicle.
• Assist in loading and unloading waste containers as needed.
• Follow designated routes and schedules, ensuring timely collection services.
• Participate in training sessions and safety meetings as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment safely.
• Strong physical stamina; ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual labor.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety and environmental standards.

Experience

• Previous experience in waste collection, landscaping, or similar physical labor roles is a plus.
• Familiarity with waste management procedures and regulations is advantageous but not required.

Working Hours

• Full-time positions available.
• Shifts may vary; early morning starts and weekend work may be required.
