Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking a dedicated and experienced Class A/B CDL Commercial Front Load Truck Driver to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of waste materials using our front load trucks. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to interact professionally with customers. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of service that our company is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class A/B front load trucks to collect and transport waste materials.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Follow designated routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding route changes or issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting courteously with clients and responding to their needs.
• Maintain accurate records of waste collection and disposal activities.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in the training of new drivers and share best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience in commercial truck operations.
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles is a plus.

Experience

• Previous experience driving front load trucks or similar commercial vehicles is preferred.
• Familiarity with waste management operations and industry standards is a plus.
• Proven track record of punctuality and reliability in previous roles.

Working Hours

• Full-time position with a typical schedule of Monday to Friday.
• Some weekends and overtime may be required based on operational needs.

• Strong understanding of safe driving practices and vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to navigate using GPS and traditional maps.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
