Job Summary:Sutherland Global Services Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Applications Implementation and Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in implementing, maintaining, and enhancing our IT applications to ensure they align with our business goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide top-notch support and optimize application performance, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of IT applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and strategic objectives.
- Provide ongoing technical support for IT applications, troubleshooting issues, and delivering solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure application functionality and performance meet established standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user manuals and training materials.
- Train end-users on application features and best practices to maximize utilization and effectiveness.
- Monitor application performance, analyze trends, and recommend enhancements to improve functionality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Sutherland remains competitive and innovative.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT applications implementation and support, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles and project management methodologies.
- Proficiency in SQL, database management, and scripting languages.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT applications implementation and support roles.
- Experience with enterprise applications, cloud-based solutions, and system integrations.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices is a plus.
Working Hours:
- Full-time position, with standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Flexibility in working hours may be required based on project needs.
