Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a highly skilled Civil Estimation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in project planning and execution, focusing on estimating the costs associated with civil engineering projects. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide accurate and timely estimates, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on budget and on schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for various civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and infrastructure developments.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to identify cost-effective solutions and assess potential risks.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to gather and interpret data for accurate estimation.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate existing conditions and assess project requirements.
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase, providing ongoing analysis and reports to ensure alignment with estimates.
• Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and labor rates to inform accurate estimation practices.
• Assist in preparing tender documents and proposals, ensuring compliance with client specifications and standards.
• Provide support in negotiations and finalizing contracts with clients and subcontractors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proficient in estimation software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and CostX.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil estimation or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully estimating costs for civil engineering projects.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and understanding project lifecycle processes.

Working Hours

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Flexibility in hours may be required to meet project deadlines or attend site visits.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project challenges.
