Key Responsibilities:
- Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Load, unload, and deliver packages to customers addresses, ensuring accurate delivery and collection.
- Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and any discrepancies encountered.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to resolve any delivery or collection issues that may arise.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Strong navigation and map-reading skills, with the ability to efficiently plan routes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and carrying packages of varying weights.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a delivery or driving role is preferred but not required.
- Experience with customer service or interacting with clients in a professional setting is an asset.
Working Hours:
- Full-time positions with varying shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, as needed.
