Job Summary:

As a Delivery/Collection Driver at FedEx, you will be an essential part of our logistics team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery and collection of packages. Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and any discrepancies encountered.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to resolve any delivery or collection issues that may arise.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Strong navigation and map-reading skills, with the ability to efficiently plan routes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and carrying packages of varying weights.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a delivery or driving role is preferred but not required.

Working Hours:

• Full-time positions with varying shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, as needed.
