Job Summary:

As a Warehouse Handler at FedEx, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities. This position involves handling and processing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring that all warehouse activities adhere to FedExs high standards of safety and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Shipment Processing: Efficiently and accurately handle incoming and outgoing shipments. This includes loading and unloading cargo, sorting packages, and preparing shipments for delivery.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular checks and updating the inventory system as necessary. Ensure that all items are stored properly and safely.
• Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems safely and effectively.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent service to internal and external customers by ensuring timely and accurate processing of shipments.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet and exceed warehouse goals and objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Basic computer skills and proficiency in using warehouse management systems are a plus.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks. Must be able to work in varying temperatures and conditions.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, though not mandatory. On-the-job training will be provided.

Working Hours:

• Full-time and part-time positions are available. Shifts may vary and include evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
