Key Responsibilities

• Package Delivery: Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers homes and businesses, ensuring timely delivery within scheduled windows.
• Route Management: Follow planned delivery routes and schedules, making real-time adjustments as needed to handle traffic conditions and delivery issues.
• Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service during each delivery, addressing customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the delivery vehicle in good working condition, performing basic checks and reporting any issues to ensure safety and reliability.
• Documentation: Accurately complete delivery documentation, including electronic proof of delivery and any required forms or reports.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and traffic laws, ensuring the safe operation of the vehicle and the secure delivery of packages.
• Problem Resolution: Handle delivery-related problems or discrepancies effectively, coordinating with the support team as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid Drivers License: Must possess a valid Ontario Class G drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry packages of varying sizes and weights, and to be on your feet for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries and proper handling of packages.
• Time Management: Excellent time management skills to complete deliveries within scheduled windows and manage route efficiency.

Experience

• Previous Driving Experience: Prior experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Customer Service Experience: Experience in a customer-facing role is advantageous, showcasing strong customer interaction skills.

Working Hours

• Shift Flexibility: Full-time and part-time shifts are available, including weekends and holidays. Flexibility in working hours is required to meet the demands of the role and ensure timely deliveries.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Navigational Skills: Proficient in using GPS and other navigation tools to efficiently complete delivery routes.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to address and resolve delivery issues or customer concerns promptly and effectively.
• Team Collaboration: Strong ability to work collaboratively with team members and support staff to achieve common goals.
