Job Summary:

Walmart is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Overnight Merchandising Store Associate to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

• Stocking and Inventory Management: Efficiently stock shelves, racks, and displays with merchandise according to store layout and planograms. Monitor inventory levels, report discrepancies, and assist with inventory management tasks.
• Merchandise Presentation: Ensure products are displayed in an attractive and organized manner, adhering to company standards and promotional guidelines. Replenish products and ensure that all displays are fully stocked and properly tagged.
• Store Maintenance: Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep the store environment neat and organized. Address any maintenance issues promptly and ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
• Customer Service: Assist customers by answering questions and providing information about products, promotions, and store policies. Handle any customer concerns or issues in a professional and efficient manner.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other associates and management to achieve store goals and meet customer needs. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy in stocking and merchandising tasks.
• Physical Stamina: Capability to lift, carry, and move merchandise up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, work efficiently under pressure, and manage time effectively during overnight shifts.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and team members clearly and professionally.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues that may arise during shifts.

Experience:

• Previous experience in retail or merchandising is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment or overnight shifts is advantageous.

Working Hours:

• This is a full-time overnight position. Typical shifts are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with flexibility required based on store needs and schedules.

• Technological Proficiency: Basic knowledge of retail management systems and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
