Job Summary:

As a Warehouse Associate at Home Depot, you will play a crucial role in our dynamic supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack merchandise for shipping. Prepare shipments by labeling and ensuring that all required documentation is included.

• Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Ensure that all safety protocols and guidelines are followed to prevent accidents and injuries.

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment.

• Customer Service: Provide excellent internal customer service by resolving any issues related to inventory or order fulfillment in a timely and professional manner.

• Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to achieve daily and weekly operational goals. Communicate effectively to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order handling and inventory management.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and equipment operation is a plus.

Working Hours:

• Full-time and part-time positions available.
• Shifts may vary, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Flexibility in scheduling is required to meet operational needs.
