Key Responsibilities:

• Freight Processing: Unload, sort, and organize merchandise from delivery trucks. Ensure that all freight is processed and stocked accurately according to Home Depots guidelines.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels by verifying and recording incoming merchandise. Assist in managing stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
• Store Organization: Ensure that product displays and shelves are well-organized and properly stocked to meet customer needs. Replenish products and maintain store cleanliness.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy merchandise (up to 50 lbs) and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in processing freight and stocking merchandise.
• Time Management: Efficiently manage time to complete tasks within designated shift hours.
• Communication Skills: Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.

Experience:

• Prior experience in retail or warehouse environments is preferred but not required.
• Experience with inventory management and freight operations is a plus.

Working Hours:

• Part-time, overnight shifts. Specific hours may vary based on store needs, typically between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
