Key Responsibilities

  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes, pipelines, and systems to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of data pipelines and queries to handle large volumes of data efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL. Knowledge of data warehousing solutions and data modeling.
  • Programming Skills: Strong experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala for data engineering tasks.
  • ETL Tools: Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica).
  • Big Data Technologies: Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Data Visualization: Understanding of data visualization tools and techniques to support data analysis and reporting.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data engineering or related role with a strong focus on data pipeline development and management.

Working Hours

  • Full-Time Position: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required based on project needs and deadlines.
