Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Assist RNs by handling administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing emails, and organizing patient records.

  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between patients, RNs, and other healthcare providers, facilitating smooth and effective communication.
  • Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups, ensuring that all parties are informed and schedules are efficiently managed.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare, proofread, and distribute documents such as patient summaries, care plans, and educational materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a background in healthcare administration is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with EHR systems.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and document preparation.
  • Customer Service: A patient-focused mindset with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Experience

  • Healthcare Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, especially in roles involving administrative support or patient interaction.
  • Remote Work: Experience working remotely or in a virtual environment is beneficial.
  • Administrative Roles: A minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or assistant role, ideally within a healthcare context.

Working Hours

  • Remote Flexibility: This is a full-time remote position, offering flexibility in working hours. However, you must be available during core business hours to ensure smooth operations.
  • Core Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Eastern Time), with occasional requirements for overtime based on business needs.
