HK Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Medical Coder to join our team. This position is ideal for recent graduates in B Pharmacy or those with a background in pharmaceuticals. As a Medical Coder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient coding of medical records and claims, supporting our commitment to providing top-notch healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Code Medical Records: Review and code patient records accurately using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliance with federal regulations, insurance requirements, and internal policies.
  • Data Entry: Input and manage coding information into the company database with high accuracy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers, billing departments, and other stakeholders to clarify information and resolve discrepancies.

  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of changes in coding standards and healthcare regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Educational Background: B Pharmacy or equivalent degree in a related field.
  • Certification: Certified Medical Coder (CMC) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) is preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience

Working Hours
