Amazon is seeking a highly motivated IT Support Technician to join our Global Operations & Support team. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, providing technical assistance to employees across multiple regions, and supporting the companys global technology initiatives. As part of Amazons IT team, you will be responsible for diagnosing hardware and software issues, supporting end-users, and maintaining IT systems that enable business continuity across our global operations.
Provide first- and second-level technical support to employees globally, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices.
Respond to IT incidents, service requests, and system outages in a timely and efficient manner.
Collaborate with global IT teams to implement technology solutions and standard operating procedures.
Document technical issues, solutions, and operational procedures in internal knowledge bases.
Assist in IT asset management, including inventory tracking, provisioning, and decommissioning of equipment.
Support software deployment, updates, and patch management.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize IT support processes and enhance user experience.
Maintain compliance with company policies, security protocols, and IT best practices.
Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware, software, and networking environments.
Experience with Windows, macOS, and mobile device platforms.
Knowledge of IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) and remote support software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support users at all levels.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple incidents, and work under pressure.
Strong problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a global or large-scale operational environment.
Experience supporting enterprise IT environments, including cloud-based tools and collaboration platforms.
Prior exposure to multi-site or cross-cultural support environments is advantageous.
Full-time position.
May require flexibility to support global operations across different time zones.
On-call or rotational support shifts may be required during peak business periods or emergencies.
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity principles.
