Hulu is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Remote Customer Care Representative to join our support team, focusing on Billing & Account Change inquiries. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for Hulu subscribers, helping resolve billing issues, updating account information, and providing personalized assistance to ensure a smooth and satisfying user experience. You will be an advocate for Hulus core value—customer obsession—while navigating sensitive billing topics with professionalism, clarity, and care.
Respond promptly to incoming billing and account-related inquiries via phone, chat, or email.
Assist subscribers in updating payment methods, handling failed transactions, and understanding billing cycles.
Troubleshoot and resolve account access issues and subscription changes (cancellations, upgrades, downgrades).
Escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams while ensuring customer concerns are properly followed through.
Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions using Hulus CRM tools.
Educate customers about Hulus features, offerings, and policies to promote understanding and satisfaction.
Meet or exceed performance metrics related to response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on Hulus products, pricing, promotions, and technical updates.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking ability.
Ability to maintain a positive, patient, and professional tone even under pressure.
High attention to detail and accuracy when processing billing information.
Proficient in using customer support software, CRM tools, and live chat/email platforms.
Ability to handle confidential customer information responsibly.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, preferably in a remote or contact center environment.
Previous experience dealing with billing systems or subscription-based services is a strong plus.
Experience working in a high-volume customer support team is advantageous.
Flexible shifts available, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work 5 days a week (40 hours) with scheduled off days.
All shifts are remote and require a stable internet connection and quiet workspace.
Deep understanding of customer service best practices.
Familiarity with streaming services, subscription models, and account lifecycle management.
Ability to multitask across systems, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks.
