Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including necessary paperwork and tracking information.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any delivery-related concerns.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to ensure safe operation.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies while on the road.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude and a strong work ethic at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (Class 5 or equivalent).
• Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of loading and unloading goods.
• Must pass a background check and have no criminal history.
• Must have basic knowledge of GPS navigation and map reading.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a delivery driver or logistics role is preferred but not required.
• Experience with navigating local roads and understanding of traffic patterns in Canada.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Candidates with prior experience in the transportation or courier industry will be prioritized.

Working Hours:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Flexibility required as shifts may vary depending on customer demand and delivery schedules.
• Occasional weekend or evening work may be necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficient in using GPS or navigation systems to plan and follow delivery routes.
• Knowledge of local and regional geography.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle unexpected situations such as traffic delays or route changes.
• Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail while managing multiple deliveries at once.
• Understanding of basic vehicle maintenance, including fuel management and tire checks.
• Proficient in basic computer skills for updating delivery logs and tracking systems.
