Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate interpretation services in both verbal and written formats across different subjects, including business, legal, medical, and general communication.
• Act as an intermediary between individuals who speak different languages, ensuring effective communication and understanding.

• Translate documents and audio content when required, ensuring all interpretations are clear and culturally appropriate.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Fluent in at least two languages, including one of Malaysias official languages (Bahasa Malaysia) and English. Additional languages will be a plus.
• Proven experience in interpretation or translation, with a strong understanding of cultural nuances and local dialects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong listening skills and the ability to retain and process large amounts of information quickly.
• Proficiency with interpretation tools and software (e.g., Zoom, Skype, translation tools).
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle pressure in fast-paced environments.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of professional interpreting experience, preferably in a work-from-home environment.
• Experience in interpreting for various sectors, such as business, healthcare, or legal fields, will be highly regarded.
• Certification in interpretation or translation (e.g., ATA, NAATI) is an advantage.

Working Hours
